its either power steering bypass valve or a fuel problem.bypass valve will increase load on engine when turning if stuck. lean fuel will cause engine to die when extra load is put on (power steering bypass valve popping off when working correctly) does it do it when you kick on the air conditioning? if yes, check for fuel problem.

Fuel pressure not steady, pick up tube damaged. Put another new AC fuel filter on and for laughs split the old one to inspect. Auto parts have a slick to split a oil / gas cartridge. The sock may plugged in the gas tank. You may be experiencing a lean or overly rich condition while stopping or turning. Have someone follow you during these maneuvers keeping an eye on the exhaust pipe. See if there is any unusual black smoke. Do you want to get innovative? Here goes. To check for a possible ignition problem simply hook up an inductive timing light to a 12v positive and ground under the dash. Hook the induction clamp to any ignition wire. Plan on doing this test at night. Tape the trigger on th handle to the in position. The timing light should be pouring out an array of flashing light. Go through one of your troublesome maneuvers. Have a friend ride with you holding the timing light. If there is any sign of an ignition problem the light will shut completely off as your engine dies. If the timing light stays on you definitely have a fuel problem. If everything is up and running in the gas tank (fuel pump). Have someone field strip your fuel injection system.

Just a guess. Something is wrong with your power steering and it's putting a load on the engine when you are turning in tight spaces. Can you recreate this at the mechanics? Does this happen when it's warm/cold?

Checked out by whom? A Chevy dealer? If not, try taking it there. Also, is it a standard or automatic? You might have a clutch problem if its a standard. It might be the fuel injector..does the system need a cleaning. Dealer.

It sounds like an electrical problem. You might want to take and have it scanned at a repair facility. It's hard to pinpoint one particular thing with all the different electricals on a vehicle that new. Good Luck

That's a strange one... I'd actually look into a loose cable/wire somewhere, on something vital to operation. Pop open the hood and carefully move wires to see if you can identify a loose one. If you choose to do this with the engine running, use caution around any moving or hot parts.

What you're able to hearken to for is this. while the truck is placed into opposite does the engine exchange revs. once you shift from park to opposite or force the engine idle could drop. in case you do not hear the engine idle drop then the trans is the two low on fluid or long previous kaput as reported before. verify the fluid lever and spot if its black in shade or pink, it is going to be pink. one ingredient which could ensue is the tranny could have water in it. This occurred to me, my trans cooler in my radiator became into leaking and putting fluid into the trans, which destroyed it. This brought about the trans to lock up and the idle by no skill replaced from park to force. If it became into purely the opposite kit undesirable it would nonetheless roll down the driveway, sounds like the the remainder of the tranny is approximately to bypass additionally.
