I know how to install them but am questioning how to lube them correctly

I wanted to know where to lube when installing the lifters.

put the lifters in a small container and fill with transmission oil.with the lifter standing up push down on the center of the lifter with a blunt object(not sharp) and then let up,do this several times for each lifter and you will see air come out and oil be drawn in.

Priming a lifter with oil is a good idea, but being sure that it is properly situated in it's bore is very important. If the inlet is turned away from the oil feed hole, you'll be back in the engine very soon to replace them. Make sure they are properly situated and put them in. The engine will pump them up for you very quickly.

i always poured some oil into something and took a screwdriver or something and pumped the lifters up with oil,before i installed them.also take some oil and put some inside the bore where the liters go.
