I have been really happy with the dodge ram. Not had any problems yet and it does an awesome job.

I expect others will weigh in on this but here's my take. 2006 Dodges and older have the great Cummins Engine. They have had more than their share of trans. problems. The scrubbers on the 07's are giving headaches. The Ford engines are made by Avis-tar, the old International plant in the Midwest. Their fumbling around trying to unleash more power from the corn binder motor. Reports say it'll come pretty close to the horsepower of the Isuzu in the GMC's and Chevrolet Trucks. I'd ask another question to diesel mechanics: Of the three diesel misfeatures which has the lowest insidance of repair? Good luck!

No such thing really. Everybody thinks their brand of truck is the best.
I would prefer an F-250 diesel.

If you mean a newer truck Go for the GMC seierra with a 6.6 litre. Can you say outpull, out torque, and if you get the 4x4 version "Bitchin off road" better than an atv.
P.S. I've got a 2004 and it rocks.

That's a loaded question...I have a ford super-duty, had it for three years and only replaced the tires. As for the others I can't tell you if there good or bad cuz I don't have one and not gonna bash any-ones ride.

the dodge is the best one on the market right now ,as far as hauling and payload ,and room it has it all,and so far has proved to be more reliable than the others also,you might want to at least check in to one,their real good trucks,hope this help,s.
