dodge man if ya see this i need help
i own a very nice 1969 dodge charger i installed a 440 six pac in this baby. problem is it starts up runs fine when i nail the throtle while its in the garge to see if everthing is okie dokie the 2 middle carbs start to over flow.i tapped on them it quit and ran fine then i shut it down and it did it again? did i set the floats wrong ? old brass type floats should have went with the rubber ones i bet huh??

instead of asking a question, try just dodge man. he's good, straight answers. what is happening to you happened to me once on my ford. i was having a lot of trouble with the phenolic floats so i got a brass one. the clip that held it to the needle could go on two ways, one of which wouldn't allow the needle to seat. i'm not familiar with what's in your carb, but worth suggesting, i guess. sounds sweet, good luck, mines a 68 chevelle ss.

iam not dodge man,but it sounds like a pin hole in the float or a piece of dirt in the needle valve,or the needle seat is leaking.could be the float is set too high.

yes sounds like the float either has a hole in it or is adjusted wrong or the needle seat in the jet isnt sealing. good luck sweet car bro.

if the floats are not adjusted right and too high than they can overflow like that
