my 06chev impala remote has not worked since buying car and my tire monitoring system does not register all tire pressures and tells me to have it serviced. In to dealer 4 times and they say they fixed but not fixed. The 4th time they said GM is having many problems with both of these items and when GM figures how to fix them they will give us a call to bring it back in. It's winter I would like to use it at least this winter. Do you know of these problems.?

My main problem is, in the past some mechanic removed it from my car , it passed 2 smog test without the ECS but failed this last one because the parts are now required for this test, I'm trying to find out what parts I need, I do not have a diagram of parts and where they fit on the car, The electrical is "OK" .Then I need a place to buy whats missing, until I know whats missing I'm stuck.

I have a 1998 ford tarus station wagon and recently replaced the power steering pump and alternator,I am having dificulty stopping the ''new'' noise from ps pump even tho I am trying to bleed it,maybe my method is wrong,I am loosining the line on top of pump and turning steering wheel, while of course the car is running,do I need a second person to watch the pump while i do this?I also had to remove the water reserve tank and lost some water,do I need to bleed the radiator and if so,how?I used a stethoscope to determine that most of noise was coming from new pump, good advise will be well appreciated,ty,Lee

1995 Mirage. Able to remove assembly socket from headlight but can't remove the bulb assembly from the socket. The manual says just pull it out. It won't budge. Seems to be latched in but no clear way to unlatch it. I hope I'm missing the obvious. Don't want to waste time going to a mechanic for something so trivial. Thanks for any help.

The whole tail end of the truck is sitting on the wheels. I can hear the truck trying to level, but the rear will not lift up. I tried turning off the suspension switch for a while and turning it back on, but nothing happened. Local Ford dealership can't do anything until Monday. What could the problem be?

The Check Engine light went on for my 2001 Volvo S40 1.8T and I took it to Advanced Auto Parts for diagnostics. The diagnostics said that there was a failure in the engine coolant thermometer. They said they sell this part. Does anyone know if this would be a replacement that I could do on my own or if I should just bring it for service?
