Suggest you go to Kitcar.com or pick up their magazine. Same with carbuilder.com and their magazinemagazine.

Just do a search by typing 'kit cars" etc. You will be amazed at how many options there are including F1 type cars that can be driven on the road. Many books, conversions, body types and chasis frames, suspensions available in all styles or tastes..

well after you spend about a couple hundred thousand on paying people to design the parts and build the basic shape of the car and machine all the mechanical pieces out for the car you would have to have them inspected by the state and federal vehicle safty inspection and if it didnt pass......well your out a butt load of money and no where to drive the car. stick with the kit car thing. or you can do what ruf does to porches and take a plain lets say a stock honda for example....modify that car so much that 75 percent of the original car is aftermarket or one off and then you can call it what ever the hell you would like cuz its not a honda anymore.
