my disc rotor is scraping and i took it out. i saw a deep lines on it.and it smell burned. the one that hold the disc rotor is lose and shaking is that what u called the wheel bearing? the one with the screws that u put your tire together?

my taurs runs great like new was kept garage and runs great till it gets to a quater of a tank then it acts like i let off the gas then will start going fine then dose it again like i let off the gas and i didnt it more gas i give it it will cut off i can stop fill up with gas and runs fine till it gets to a quater again any anser ?

i turn the key and it makes a noice that it sounds like it wants to start and for like 5 seconds, and then it starts. when i bough it it was fine it would start on the first ignition. But i changed sparked plugs brakes and air filter and now it wont start on the first try ?
why?

I have a 2001 blazer. I replaced the air injection about 8 months ago. And just recently it started to blow that fuse. I have replaced the wire's and the pump agian but still have the problem. what do you think would be wrong? Also the pump was full of water both time's i replaced it.???

Heya just another quick question. My 2002 dodge caravan had heating issues today so i pulled over waited 30 mins put water and antifreeze in cause it was completely drained ? I'm not sure if i did it 50/50 ?. Why is that so important or is it ok to have more water than antifreeze? Thanks for your help.

My new 06 civic just reach 10,000 miles. According to the manual I am suppose to do:

1)replace engine oil
2)rotate tires
3)replace air filter
4)replace transmission fluid
5)replace spark plugs. Inspect valve clearance
6).replace engine coolant
7)check front and rea break wear
8)check parking brake adjustment
9)check the following items:
-tie rod ends, sterring gear box and boots
-suspension components
-driveshfaft boots
-break hoses and lines
-all fluid levels and condition of fluids
-exhaust system
-fuel lines and connections

I asked my friends and they said I'll be ripped off by the dealer if I follow the manual. The said only need to do the first 3 (oil/air filter change & tire rotation). Is it true?

Upon driving and giving gas...the car cuts out....lopes and I have to down shift to a lower gear (standard Transmission) to get it to stop......then I proceed on giving more gas to even it out....as soon as I slow down some I have to downshift again to get it to stop cutting out. The engine light comes on and will stay on for all day long but not every day....but today it came on and then started flashing. I was 70 miles away from home and no one to call for help. I proceeded on after checking the oil....it was 1/2 of a quart low so I put in oil to bring it back up to level. It blew white smoke out the tail pipe but cleared up when I got to going for a little bit. The engine light stopped flashing but stayed lit up the entire trip. I am just curious to what everyone thinks that could be wrong. I have several ideas but am not sure to what is wrong.

Car was making funny fan noise when parked in garage, hadn't been driven for 3 hours. Next morn battery was dead, had it towed to dealer, found nothing wrong and now the MIL light is on. I also believe my warranty expires today, coincidence? Should I bother fixing it or get rid of it?
