I would suggest you go to the auto supply and when you get your parts pick up a CHILTONS or HAYNES repair manual, about $25, and it will lead you through. If you want to be a diy mechanic you need more than what you get here. Brakes are an important item and they need to be done correctly. You will probably need your rotors machined or perhaps replaced. Check with the auto supply, a lot of them do rotor turning.

i own a repair shop, and these are really simple to do,,you need to jack it up,and get it on jack stands, and then remove the wheels from it,,once this is done you can remove the caliper bolts from the back of the calipers ,and remove them,,the pads are easily replaced ,just lightly press the calipers back in so the new pads will fit ,and be sure and check to see if the rotors need to be turned on it,,if they do ,have this done,,and the new pads will last a lot longer on it,,then just reverse everything you have done,,and when you first mash on the brake pedal,,do it slowly,,not all at once,,and that's pretty much it,,replace the wheels ,and drive it to make sure its ok,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s,,have a good x-mas.
