It depends on your driving habits and other factors. If your rotors were resurfaced when the new pads were put on and all other components of your braking system were working properly, I would venture to say that you should get 1.5 to 2 years out of a new set of pads. Driving on the highway with less stop & go traffic, you might be able to go longer. When the pads are worn out, you should hear a screech from the wear indicators installed by the manufacturer on the pads. Towing can shorten the life of your pads.

No easy answer. It depends on your driving habits, where you drive most city or highway, quality of the pads, Etc.. My driving is mixed and my front brake pads usually last at least 30,000 miles- about 1/2 as long as the rear brakes.

Depends on the quality of the pads and the conditions of the road and driver. If you want to out stop a brick wall, or control a car down a mountain, not long.

Like everyone else has said, it depends on your driving habits (do you tailgate or wait to stop until the last minute?) You will feel when your brakes start to go. If you can, go buy lifetime brake pads, that way whenever they go out, you get new ones for free for the lifetime you have your vehicle.
