i own a repair shop,,and you need to top it off with new gas and also put a new set of spark plugs in it,,before you try and start it,,it may start and run good with the old ones ,,but sometimes after one has set for a while it will run for a while then die out,,and this causes a lot of confusion and people don't think to try the plugs,so id just do it now and get it over with, but other than that it should be alright,,you,ll need to change the oil in it once it has been ran for a little while, and it should be fine,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s,,have a good x-,mas.

put fresh gas in, start it up and let it run until it reaches proper operating tempurature, then change the fluids and give it a proper tune up, good luck
