It has a Small block 350 in it.. headers and full exuast. I wanna make more top end power.. Its a TBI motor Should i keep the TBI? I think so. What size cams go with a This motor? its a stock ecm as well.

When I started it up (after it had been sitting for a while in about 32 F temperatures) I noticed a clicking coming from the engine which maybe sounded like lifters, is this a potential problem--and or should i steer clear of this vehicle. The Truck had about 148,000 miles on it--

The check engine light started blinking on my car today as soon as I started it. I also noticed a sputter whenever I would go to use the brake at first, and then it started when I accelerated as well.

My aunt used to work for a service dept and told me it could be fuel related (I did fill up the car today at around 12 n and the car was fine all day until about an hour ago when I started it, she was thinking maybe water in the tank?). It's also about 1000 miles over from needing an oil change (yes, I know, bad me! :-/)

What is going on? I know I have to bring it to a mechanic, and the guys around here are honestly crooks, so I want to be prepared as to what they could say was wrong with the car.

Any help is well appreciated.

after turning it off it goes completely dead once i try to turn it on again,
I have to move the battery wires around and i got power again, what can be causing this? could it be the alternator?

The temp gauge goes up toward the middle if I'm stopped long enough. But once I'm driving again after a minute or so it starts to cool back down.

(92) pontiac grand am. the oil light came on. so i changed the oil. the light is still on. i was told it was the oil light sending unit. how sure are you that this is my problem? would it hurt to run it?

i change the cranck sensor and cam sensor, still stalling, somebody any clue, run the computer scan and no codes showing....my mechanic think is computer problem, the dealer says is not... anyone have this problem before?

2 weeks ago my daughter's kia lights went dim,radio stop playing, and the the little man with the air bag infront of him came on all of a sudden, daughter made it back to school; that night and I went up the next day to fix the problem, found the car was dead as a door knob jump it off it cranked with no problem to the positive end of the battery of and the car kept running. So I figured it must be the battery so brought it to AUTOZONE they said the battery had a collasped cell. Okay I bought a new battery put it in evedrything okay for about two weeks, my daughter does not use her car to much at school but she calls me this morning and said it done the same thing it done last time with the addtion of the power door locks going up and down by themselves so I am on the way tomorrow to change out the alternator does this sound like this will fix my problem ,,, she probablly been running on battery for the last two weeks ??????? need any and all opions on this one

My car overheated and yoo-hoo (rust colored coolant) just spilled out onto the driveway. What could be the cause of this and how do I check for symptoms?
My friend said if it's the top radiator hose it's the thermostat; if it's the bottom hose, it's the radiator. I just went outside to feel the hose and the top one is crunchy when I squeeze it. What does this indicate? Thanks for everyone's help.

i cannot find cylinder number 7, i need a picture of cylinder #7 so i can replace the coil pack. the dealer says that i need to replace only that one, does anyone now were i can find d apicture of the cylinders? also, it says i needa coolant tempetautre sensor. were is the coolant temperature sensor at? is it the petcock valve were i let the radiator fluid drain, or were is it at? i need pictures, or someone that knows what tehy are talking about. thanks
