the fan was not spining
got a new thermostat
new water pump
new hose
oil change
new relays for the ratiator
was told oil and anti were mixing
what now
too expensive to re buid the engine

This occurred for the first time today. It is of concern because it seems to drain the battery. I pulled out the ignition fuse and this still occurs. Any thoughts?

Ok, I bought an 86 Trans Am. The person before me put a 350 in it. The 350 came out of an 84 chevy 1/2 ton van. The car has the stock tranny, and as far as I'm aware, the stock starter. The problem I'm having is I was getting a lot of starter noise, and the engine wouldn't turn over. I looked at the flywheel, and 3/4 of every tooth is sheared off. When I compared the flywheel with the starter it looks the starter gear can't fully engage with the flywheel. Do I need to change something?

I have a 2004 Nissan Altima, and only had it for 8 months. It suddenly turned of on me while driving. And it has the engine maintenance light on. I have a warranty on the car but is this something that I will need to pay out of my pocket? When it turned of I was able to turn it back on again. But, it did again later in the afternoon. Someone please help.

the rav 4 2006- it has a tire inflation warning signal on the dash. I checked all 4 tires and they were ok. and yet the warning light wouldnt go off. how do you turn it off?

i drive a 92 cavalier and my car shakes when i start it up sometime.. its a hit or miss ,i like to say it has a mind of its own, but it shakes in park, neutral, drive and even reverse. It shakes worse when i stop and once i floor it to maybe 40 mph, if im lucky, it wont shake as bad. It also has an odor, that i cant really descibe, once i drive it around.(this is only when my car shakes) My dad recently got new tires for my car and admission coil also he fixed something about my spark plugs). He also added antifreeze to my car.. if that even matters. Ive put fuel injector in my baby, and also a thing called "Heet" if anyone knows anything that can help me out, please post!

The sound starts off slow then as I go faster it gets louder. I can feel the vibrations from inside the car. When I got out to check a burning rubbery smell was coming from the rear right tire area. When I went over a little bump in the road the sound went away but then came back a little later.

PLEASE HELP!!
I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee. It all started a couple of month ago. Every time I turned left, my car will loose speed and I noticed the tachometer will go all the way down. I will then push the accelerator some more and the speed will come back. Now, it got to a point where I'm in the highway, at constant velocity, and my tachometer will fluctuate. I can feel my car pushing the engine to work some more during the fluctuation period. Whats wrong with my car? snif snif What do I need to do?

I broke down the other day and my top radiator hose popped of due to alot of pressure.I put it back on and seen the car wasn't running hot. I drove to the Gas station not even 2 min down the road and pulled over,right when I get into the gas it starts to rattle really loud!!But the car wasn't running hot at all.Now that I hav changed the thermostat its running hot and has a loud rattle going.I was told the water pump went out and the rattle was the bearing inside that broker lose and moving around.Please help,any advice I would greatly appericate.
