my car has to warm up before it will go, i was told to change the tranny filter but believe me i can see through it should it be change just the same

change the filter while you have it down as far as you have gone and button it all back up and get a bottle of lucas transmission fluid and add it in along with the regular transmission fluid and I bet your problem will be fixed, I have used the lucas product 2 times when I had a transmission problem on 2 differen't cars and it fixed the problem, sometimes the valves in the trans get sticky and don't work properly causing problems like you have and the lucas frees up those valves and makes everything else in the trans slide better.

If you have gone to all the trouble to pull the tranny pan and filter, I would definately replace it. Saving $10 on a filter after doing all that work just seems foolish.
