Guess I should have mentioned. The corn was being dumped at high velocity from the combine's hopper into a semi! They tried to tell me it wasn't possible because "corn is too soft". Funny...The crack wasn't there before, I heard a loud pop when I drove past, then the crack was there...I'm blonde, but come on!!!

corn , probably not, they were filling the truck, that happens a lot faster than spitting the crap out the back, a combine can pick up a rock , and that would do it!!!

Shouldn't be anything but husks, cobs and stalks. Why is there corn coming out? You better tell the poor guy.

Combined corn is very hard. But it usually doesn't come out fast enough to break a windshield. You'd probably have to be doing 50 in your car.

it sure can...and it will put a knot on your head if you are standing too close too. For the most part though...no corn will come out..only the shucks and the cobs....the corn goes in the hopper of the combine.
