Own a 1998 escourt ZX2 it keeps dying no power at all batt is new and alt. has been tested good 3 diff times?

Will start fine and can drive it from 15 to 30 miles then all of a sudden the battery light will flash and the car will stall out. Have to jump it to get it started again then it is the same thing goes 15-30 miles and dies again

probably a short in your stereo :(

disconnect the battery at night and see how it does

Have someone different check your alternator b/c that is the problem. Get a new alternator.

what about the belt,is it new,it could be slipping and not keeping the battery charged.
