I vacuum the water up with a wet dry vac and within a couple of days the water is back. It is soggy to the touch. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and what may be done to fix it? Thanks

Just bought a 98 Town and country minivan at an auction. Feels like the power steering isn't working at slow speeds(very hard to turn wheel), at faster speeds you can turn the wheel but its still harder than normal. What do you think this might be and what might it cost to fix?
Thanks for your ideas.

i just put $776 into my neon for a new feul pump and EGR. literally just got it back thursday night, and tonight when i was picking up the kids it acting like it wasn't going to start so i pushed the gas pedal and it started but was shaky. i made it home fine but everytime i got to a stop light it would idle so rough i was afraid it would stall. what is going on here? it's not getting enough fuel to run right but i just got a new pump in, there's almost a full tank of gas, and the engine light isn't on. would fuel injector/carb cleaner that you put in the gas tank help??

The other day (while trying to get my cell phone) my front right tire hit a curb at about 45mph.

Ever since then my vehicle after getting past 65 mph seems to shake from that front right side... The steering does not seem out of alignment at nearly any speed, it just shakes after 65mph.

Could this right front tire be out of balance or something worse?

FURHTHER INFORMATION: The vehicle is a front wheel drive 2003 Toyota Corolla CE

while doing some trouble shooting i adjusted the timeing on my 85 ram mini (cargo version of the caravan) 2.6 liter figured out what the problem was which was not anything to do with the timeing.

its running very well now but i have not set it with a timeing light.even though I don't think that it is very far off from its original setting is there a chance that i could cause damage by not setting the timeing with a timeing light?

if so can you explain the steps for setting the timeing with a timeing light.

Thanks

i was told that my sunfires vaulty crank sensor caused my car to stall and the oil in spark plug well as well.
After replacing crank sensor my car started but stall again after a minute.Mechanic is nowing taking out the NEW crank sensor and putting my OLD crank sensor back in, then putting in an Ignition Module, which he says is the problem..and he said YES this ignition module can cause oil in spark plug valve via way of crank sensor.. .Cost at first -crank shaft replacement was 550.00, plus to do a EGR cleaning.
Now that he is putting my crank shaft back and doing ignition module instead.. he says sorry for the mishap and will keep the total cost the same. is this a deal??
Haven't gotten the car back and running yet.. so i dont know exactly which way this whole deal is blowing yet.
but would this be a deal?
so confused

Sounds exactly like a bad starter, so I tested it and it passed, but I replaced it anyway, I've also replaced the battery, the alternator, and the ignition switch within the past month. However, the infamous CLICKING noise still happens when I turn the key, and the engine will not start. Any ideas?

We just got back from a long trip (7 hours) and had no problems at all the whole time. A few minutes after turning the car off, I went to start it again and nothing happened. It wouldn't turn over and lights/radio weren't working. Turning the key produced faint flickering of the lights for a split second but that was it. We got a jump and it started up fine. It seemed to have no problems driving, except when I hit the break all lights and the headlights dimmed for a brief moment. They would then go back to normal, even if the break was still applied. We stopped at a few stoplights and there were no issues with keeping the car going, but once we stopped for good and turned it off, it wouldn't turn over/start again. Is this an alternator issue or something simpler like a lose connection/wire somewhere?

I took my sentra to the shop for a routine oil change and he did a full throttle body cleaner...the car ran great before I dropped it off..then when I picked it up it didn't run over 20mph...the mechanic said that it was nothing to do with the cleaning, however, the car was fine when I took it in..how would one explain this and is there the slightest possibility that it did damage the MAF sensor?

Help!

My 2001 Mitsubishi Galant 6 cylinder failed the yearly inspection.

The only thing printed out on the report from the garage was a "fail" was an OBD-II test result indicating "MIL Commanded-On." I I don't know what that means.

Also, the yellow warning light on the dashboard has been on (seek engine help soon), and my own OBD-II show a code of P0135 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction).

Is the "MIL Command-On" and the P0135 code related?

Is this an easy repair to replace the Oxygen Sensor.

With a little direction, I can fix most anything.

Thank you

On the way home from work today. I had the cruise control set at 67 mph. I started up a hill and the transmission slipped. (or seemed to slip) The RPMs went down and back up really fast, a few times up that hill. Then nothing. I started up another hill and the same thing happened. I slowed my speed and cut the cruise off and nothing happened again on the rest of my trip. What could be wrong?
