I vacuum the water up with a wet dry vac and within a couple of days the water is back. It is soggy to the touch. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and what may be done to fix it? Thanks

First you need to determine if it is antifreeze coming into the Jeep from the heater core. It would have an odor and feel slippery to the touch. If it is the heater core I would recommend you take it to a shop. It is a big job to change one. If it is antifreeze, you need to top off the radiator so you don't overheat and ruin the engine.

If it is not antifreeze you have a water leak from some part of the Jeep. Since you say a couple of days, that means it either rains a lot where you live or the Jeep gets washed about every two days. You need to use a water hose turned on very slow and have someone move it very slowly back and forth till you see the drip. Then you have to figure out how to stop it. If it is the windshield, you can squeeze clear silicon into the are and pray you got the bad spot.

Oh my God!

Not a 1994 Jeep Grande Cherokee?

No - really?

Phew!
Some people will never learn.

I mean - the 94?

Is your Jeep overheating as well? Is the water lime green?
I would have to agree with heater core being the problem.

you have a undesirable ignition coil. it is going to initiate and run fantastic till it gets warmed up. then it is going to die. and could not initiate till it cools down. those section are often on the desirable component to the engine and are extremely ordinary to replace by using do it yourselfers.

You might want to check the window seal too. I had a car that had a tiny crack in the seal that did that before.

It could be your airconditioning drain is stopped up. Find the drain and run a wire through it.

I agree with Daryl C. Does it have sort of a sweet smell?
