No point in lying, I was high and scratched my beloved BMW E36!!!

This is the first time the car has been through a bad time in 15 years!!! There was a brick wall as I tried to turn left and the driver and passenger door got scratched. I need to know what I should now do.

The scrathes are not very deep, only the top layer has been scratched off-no metal showing, jus a whitey-bluey colour (car is blue).

SO...

Either a complete respray, which I can do in any colour and really make the car look good

Just repair that section

or
You tell me.

Any help will be appreciated.

My car is sputtering on acceleration. I do have a hole in my air intake, but it is covered with duct tape. My bottom screw to distributor isn't there because an old screw broke off in there. I know these are reasons it could be doing what its doing, along with a dirty fuel injector, but it has had these things for a couple of months and has seemed fine.

However, when it rains is when the car seems to bog down the most. It has happened like 3 times in the last 4 months and always seems to be after a rain. Also, before it started happening this last time I put gas in my car while it was raining and it was an uncovered gas pump.

Is there a chance that water is getting into my gas? How is this happening? How do I stop it? And, since my car is normally fine after it seems that the gas has worked its way through the lines, will this water evaporate or go away? When this happens, if I don't do anything to prevent it, can I just run the car on idle?

I have an 1994 vauxhall (opel?) corsa and it has no reverse lights! It's just had an MOT and passed.. :-s .. Does anyone know how I can fix this by myself? My dad changed the fuse but it wasn't that. I've heard some people talking about a reverse light switch but no idea what they're on about. Thanks!

I am in the market to look for a minivan, due to my young children growing faster than the speed of light! More leg room for them would be much more comfortable for them to ride in.

I am dominently looking at a Ford Windstar as my vehicle of choice, preferrably 1999 or newer.

I have noticed some minivans with lower mileage and some have higher mileage on them, 130,000+ miles or even more.

What would you predict would become future possible mechanical problems, can you give me an estimate of what mileage these things start? I know I am kind of leery of transmision problems once almost any vehicle gets up beyond 110 or 120,000 miles on it, depending on how nicely the previous owner treated it.

On September 25th. I looked in the phone book for some repair to be done on my vehicle. My window would not let up or down. I found a mobile auto repair where they come to you. On the phone I let the man know I wanted it done asap. He made some calls then let me know how much it would be. On Sep. 26th. he came to my home and spent about 3 1/2 putting in a new motor. When he was done I could not go check the work while he was there because I have my own Daycare and I did not want to take the kids out in the parking lot. About 30minutes later the last child left. As soon as he was gone I went to check my window and to my amazement it still was not working. I called the mechanic right away, and he assured me that he would come back out the next day to fix the problem. He never showed. Later that week, he kept assuring me that he would come back. He will call me and tell me that he will be there, but to this day he has yet to show. I have already paid him. What should I do?

they are still being driven, and newer cars that have a defective or non-existing catalytic converter will not pass the vehicle emmissions test and cannot be driven. It is even illegal to remove a catalytic converter, but..... These 1960 and early 1970 cars with no catalyic converter are STILL BEING DRIVEN!
How is this so?

my engine over heated causing me to blow a head gasket. i took the air intake, exhaust manifold and the head off of my engine. there was no damage to the cylinders or pistons but i really needed to replace all of my gaskets, so i did that. but i wanted to know what caused my engine to overheat to begin with. i think my radiator might be clogged because i couldn't drain the radiator until i too off the air intake. we drained my coolant resevoir and it didn't drain all the way, the bottom is all black. so i don't know if it a tube or if it is the radiator but i don't think my cooling system is working right. one of my spark blugs was melted by this overheating
