I have an 05 cavalier, i have noticed that when i use my turning signals they light up solid, they don't blink, the indicator in the car is even solid, any suggestions?

Short answer is the flasher is bad about a buck at the parts house,made by Wagner,long answer the turn signal switch bad maybe the clockspring contacts on the air bag it seems to me GM had a recall for this problem,check with your GM garage to see id they have If its not a open recall the should still be able to point you in the right direction!I'm almost sure the had a recall for that problem!!!!

First, turn on your lights and check for a bad or blown bulb....otherwise you probably have a bad flasher. Go to Auto Zone or a similar place, and they will hook you up with a new one, and even print out install instructions. It should be a simple plug in install, I think, located in or near the fuse panel. Plus a flasher isn't expensive. Hope this info helped

One of your bulbs is blown. Whichever side stays solid as indcated by the idicator is blown. Put your emergency flashers on and have a walk around the car to see which ones are gone.

It would either be a burned out bulb which you can check or the flasher is bad. Neither one should cost much to replace.

If people don"t know they shouldn"t guess.
You need to replace the flasher. Don't get the heavy duty one as it will flash slow with only four lites.

could be your turn signal switch is faulty or possibly problems with the wiring in your steering column. Make sure you have no blown bulbs.

um, I think this might mean you have a burned out bulb.
