Where did you get your oil and filter? Auto parts store? Local store? There are quite a few ways to figure this one out. the dip stick to start. if you have problems with that then contact the auto parts store that you picked up the oil and filter from. The dealer is also a good place to start. there are quick lube shops all over the place. They might have some idea. there are a number of repair books that have the information as well. most motors take less then 5 quarts of oil. Even my 454 Chev motor takes 4.5 quarts. that's a big motor.

Consult your servise handbook ask an expert mechanic. or phone you dealer. Remember. having to much oil in your engine is just as bad as having not enough. or pour the oil in to the engine slowly. and give the oil time to drain to the bottom of the sump. and check the level with your dipstick. you should have two marks close to the bottom of the dipstick. the oil level should be between both marks. doe's this help.

Just ring the dealer and ask, or it should say in the manual that comes with the car

UK? Go into Halfords, they have books to help you, and will suggest the type of oil as well.

thats why the dipstick has a line on it... and its easier to add a bit, than take it away... 4 litres is average, maybe 4.5 with filter
