No point in lying, I was high and scratched my beloved BMW E36!!!

This is the first time the car has been through a bad time in 15 years!!! There was a brick wall as I tried to turn left and the driver and passenger door got scratched. I need to know what I should now do.

The scrathes are not very deep, only the top layer has been scratched off-no metal showing, jus a whitey-bluey colour (car is blue).

SO...

Either a complete respray, which I can do in any colour and really make the car look good

Just repair that section

or
You tell me.

Any help will be appreciated.

Always baffles me how someone can treat their car like one of the family.... it is after all, just a metal box....

Depending on where the scratch is, if its on the doors or the fender easily be take off and repaired wet sand it and have just that part resprayed.. no point in spending 2500 dollars to have your whol car resprayed

Visit the local body shop, get an estimate, call your insurance. But If you decide to touch up the area, blue is the toughest to cover because of sun fading. Sounds like youve got the bucks, so you may as well do a total repaint of the car.
good luck

Take it to a BMW dealer they should charge u no more than 150$ the good thing is that its the same kind of paint that was used in the first place so it is going to look the same..Good Luck

Ah man that must suck!! You can get just the door painted and have them wet sand the rest of the car this way the whole car will look shiny and you won't tell where it was painted!! Good luck!!

Respray it in the same color so you dont have to get into repainting the whole car.

And after you do that you can let me ride your bike ;) and by the way, I dont ride b!tch, lol.

have you tried buffing it out? if that doesnt work, take it to a body shop, you dont want to take any chances of screwing it up.......
