I believe the spots are tar from the road, but I don't know for sure. The spots are raised and if I scrape one off with my fingernail there's a little brown spot left behind. I have to rub the left over brown spot really hard for a long time to get it to fully go away. At this rate, it'll take me hours to get them all off. Any suggestions?

I have a 1996 Saturn SC with 136,000 miles that burns about a quart of oil every 400 - 500 miles. I use the car to deliver newspapers in and I drive approx 700 miles a week. When I got my oil changed last time the tech. recommended a synthetic oil and said that it should help slow down the burn. IT DIDN'T!. What is the best grade to go with in my situation?

I have a Nissan Micra which has a welded sill.

We had a mouse, (long gone), who kindly packed the sill with peanuts. These are now rotting. We have managed to scrape out most of it, as it is now a thick sticking sludge which is attracting flies.

Does anyone have an idea how to remove the sludge, without cutting open the sills. There is an electrical cable, so I am loathed to use boiling water or steam, unless you know otherwise. We can get access to the sill via a hole slightly larger than the diameter of a hose pipe, by which we have used rags on wires to get the worst out, and have used to funnel to flush the sill in warm water which drains out of the drainage holes, but this doesn't really touch it.

Any ideas

Out of gas,won't start,reset switch

2006-10-08 20:47:06 · 3 answers · asked by Anonymous

I'm replacing the headlight switch, for that there's a release button and the knob and shaft pull free. to access the nut to remove the switch you have to remove the finish panel. To remove the finish panel, you have to get the windshield wiper knob out of the way. There's a slot on the knob where a little alan screw might be lying behind, but I can see no little screw and I was so furious after an hour of trying to get the thing off, I actually tried to just bust it off or force it off and the f@#$%er wouldn't even break off. I'm sure it's very simple. please help. thanks.

Bit the coorporate buyer Gets

Why does TATA Motors discriminate between Coorporate & Individuals buyers Either give the Same offer to every buyer or don't give any offer at all to any body

My car has a cracked windshield (a stone hit it), it does not effect my driving in any sense. It's just estechically unpleasing. I have to get my car inspected this month. Do you think it will pass? Does anyone know about how much it should cost to replace?
