I have a Nissan Micra which has a welded sill.

We had a mouse, (long gone), who kindly packed the sill with peanuts. These are now rotting. We have managed to scrape out most of it, as it is now a thick sticking sludge which is attracting flies.

Does anyone have an idea how to remove the sludge, without cutting open the sills. There is an electrical cable, so I am loathed to use boiling water or steam, unless you know otherwise. We can get access to the sill via a hole slightly larger than the diameter of a hose pipe, by which we have used rags on wires to get the worst out, and have used to funnel to flush the sill in warm water which drains out of the drainage holes, but this doesn't really touch it.

Any ideas

Have already tried bleach, but we really need to get the sludge out.

Cannot fill up the sill, although I have given it some serious thougth, until I realised that the purpose is also a rainwater drainage one. May do this if we sell it...

We believe the electric cable is part of the car alarm which was installed later.

We have managed to adapt a hoover head and have sucked out all the loose peanuts, and the runnier sludge, but what is left is like peanut butter, only smells rather more disgusting.

Have your car steam cleaned; steam will not harm your cables (it cools rapidly) and it should melt away the residue as it hits. It will then drain out of the sill as water.

Many auto detailers or car dealerships can steam clean; ask to make sure.

it is going to finally rot their teeth, if moist nutrition is all they are fed. The tartar will construction up and reason a superb form of problems. The dry nutrition will take a number of this tartar off. yet giving a canine dry nutrition blended with canned is solid. It makes the meal extra appetizing, and that they get slightly a take care of, that's what I feed my canine. uncooked nutrition is solid to boot because of the fact the canine easily would desire to bite their nutrition (fairly bones).

Try using an industrial detergent then a high pressure hose. Then use an air hose to remove the water and any residues. Your local garage might be able to help?

looking @ your problem i thought what if you parked on a slope and connected a wet @ dry type hoover to the larger hole and sucked the problem out with a little water as well.

I think it is time for a new car. If you had a mouse in your car, it must be pretty nasty. Get rid of it.
