agreed on the clutch but also bike oil has to withstand "shear". this is the force from the cogs in the gearbox which tries to shear and compress the oil molecules. Bike oil has to stand very high revs and temperature changes.

Never add oil additives to bike oil

Car needs a oil with higher flash point as the engine horse power is more it has to withstand higher temperatures and need more lubriction compared to Bikes

car and bike oil are completly different!

the clutch on a bike is actualy in the engine oil, if you use car oil in a bike youl get clutch slip.

so bascialy the thickness
