A friend of mine has a 1953 Oldmobile 98 Holiday. some one stole the flywheel while his motor was out at the shop being restored. and i am having a hard time finding one to replace it.can anyone out there help me.

if it is a iron flywheel I would just spend the money to have 3 inch thick round flywheel cut out and a hole drilled with a keyway in it

that is my thinking

go online to a vintage olds parts supplier. there all kinds out there if you have the right search info. start with autoparts/vintage/oldsmobile. you may find it locally orout of state, but they are out there and have parts books that you can order or have them check for availability.

iis the shop going to pay for it go to or call a wrecking yard ask them to put it on state wide finder . also call j c whittney they have a catalog for old cars
