my girlfriends' dad just put all new brakes on my car. now when you do that, your supposed to bleed the brakes, and we did all that. now i notice the brake pedal seems to go pretty far down instead of what im used to. i was told its possible that air got trapped into the brake line. should i worry about this, and whats the solution to getting that air out so the brakes go back to normal. thanks

I need a rebuilt alternator for a '96 Jeep Cherokee. The 4 cyl. and the 6 cyl. take the same alternator, so it shouldn't matter which. Anybody got one? Or have a junked Jeep that doesn't need it's working alternator anymore?

can someone provide me instructions on how to flush the coolant system and/or to see if there is a clog in the coolant system? the car overheats. i have replaced the radiator, put in a new heater coil and replaced the thermometer (?). i have also put a new gasket seal on the valve covers. any suggestions?

Sometimes when I'm driving very slow and have the sterring wheel turned almost all the way either side, there's noise from the front wheels, like they're hitting or rubbing something. Doesn't always happen, sometimes happens with the car cold, warmed up, both. Anyone ever had a Jeep with this noise?

i bought a 94 z28 camaro 2 weeks ago. i changed the oil the other day and it ran fine for a couple of days on the highway it lost oil pressure and power. i set it in the driveway to wait for a mechanic to fix it and it had oil pressure the next morning. but when it warms up it loses it, it still has loss of power when it is cold with oil pressure. I think it is the oil pump going out but im not sure because i dont know why that would cause it to have loss of power.

I've changed the same light bulb twice this week and each time it was shattered. Then yesterday I went to start it and the battery was dead. I got a jump, it ran fine, but some of the electric controls were not working. Then as soon as I shut it off it was dead again. I thought the alternator was shot until i charged the battery overnight, and still nothing. I bought a new battery today, it started, and everything worked electronicly. Is it a short? Is it going to happen again? Is it something I could fix at home, or do i need a mechanic?

Front wheel sounds like spokey dokey off kids bike.Garage said nothing wrong with it .Cant see anything stuck in tyre.Passed M.O.T.Happens between 15/30mph,driving me crazy.Not sure if i am causing damage driving ?

I've been looking all over the internet and i can't find what i'm looking for.
i have a piaggio ape coffee van and what i'm looking for is to find someone who is specialised in ataching rain covers or wind blockers to the sides of the van, so I don't get wet during rainy days, when i serve the costumers. of course for them too. the problem is that i don't know exactly how they are called and probably that is why i can's find any site for this. purchased a car appx. 45 days ago from a small dealership. being that this was my first car buying experiance and not being as knowledgable as i should have been i am getting screwed big time. for 1...the day i brought the car home my left headlight didn't work. called the dealer and he said that he would have it checked out the following monday. 1st ques. how does a car pass inspection without the light working. through further investigation later down the line i noticed that the high beam bulbs were missing all together. wth? anyway...the dealer acted dumb and just said that he would just take care of it. the car was not fixed until a month later. (no driving at night...nothin..stressin)j ust when i thought it was over, i got a flat tire. went to sunaco and made a grewsome discovery...tires were not only bald, but split to the point the mechanic would not let me drive w/o putting on the spare. 2nd ques. how did my car pass ins. w/bald and dangerous tirers? i need help...advise!!!!
