Lysol works yet no longer spraying it interior the vents. The source of the scent is deeper down. that's the evaporator middle interior the heater and air conditioner field. Take 2 strategies to the Lysol. turn the aircon on maximum/ recirculate. Spray the Lysol down close to the floor on the passenger side It gets pulled up from the heater ducts on the floor up and out in the process the vents. Spray it down there for 15 or 20 seconds with the blower on extreme velocity. Then swap off the recirculation or to regularly occurring aircon and do the comparable from the exterior. Pop the hood. on the backside of your windshield there is quite often a black plastic trim panel that would have holes or a grill the two on the passenger side or around the entire width of it. Spray the Lysol for 15 to 30 seconds into the grill. it incredibly is your sparkling air intake to your heater and air conditioner. those 2 techniques are the only way the Lysol is going to get to the inspiration of the priority. Spraying it interior the vents does no longer something.

Spray some type of odor eliminator within the engine. Your a/c hoses might be corroded a lil bit. You should at least once a month do the following: Turn your heater on to it's max for about a good 5 - 10 min. while the windows are down. This will help the pipes be corrosion free.

One of the most prevelant smells that would come from a cars vent is the smell of prestone. It would be a sign that theres a small leak in the heater core. The heater core is where prestone circulates through to cool the car and heat as well.

I believe you can get an aerosol 'bomb' of deodorant/ bacteria killer which you 'open' and place in your car, with all windows closed and the heater switched to the 'recirculating air' position. After around ten minutes, the air system should be a lot cleaner and 'bug' free. Good luck, anyway.
