I'm looking at this used truck. It's a crewcab with a long bed. I just want the biggest all terrain tires on it that would fit without rubbing.

Hello, I've seen people replace their real tail lights instead of having the standard lights? Where about can you get that done? Is it something that is relatively easy to do?Where can you purchase those lights? Im sort of bored with the taillights on my grand am.

I pulled over after I saw a small amount of smoke, under my hood. I started the car again, drove about one/two blocks before the car slowed to a coasting speed and no matter how much I pushed on the gas, the car did not accerlerate. I left it parked for a few hours, returned and turned it on. I shifted into drive, pushed on the gas, and the car didn't move at all. I looked under the car and saw a leak. I'm worried it's the transmission, but could it just be a hose?

I've been noticing an intermittent loud "hum" from the rear of the vehicle, but the operation of the vehicle seemed unaffected. Yesterday, the vehicle would not start. It would crank, but wouldn't start. This was accompanied by the aforementioned "hum" from the rear of the Jeep. Later on the Jeep did start, but I'm wondering if a faulty fuel pump is the cause of the noise and the inability to start the vehicle.

If so, does replacing the pump require removal of the fuel tank? Any tips on doing this? It seems like a total pain in the rump and anything that would make it easier would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks

I have a freind who wants to build his 74 pontiac firebird 350. I told him to find a 400, but around here it's a hard one to find-anyway,I have a lot of experience in engine work, but not in performance-we are pulling the heads to replace the springs and spacers-I know how to replace a cam, done it many times, but not in the car(engines are already pulled).also any special items having to do with performance...thanks in advance for advice!

I own a Mazda Sting 130 hatchback. It's a 2001 Model. I was recently in an accident and just got the car back from the panelbeaters. I'm not sure if the problem existed before the accident because I only had the car for a month before the accident and I never noticed it. It also sometimes makes the splashing noise when I'm just driving. I've noticed that if I've been driving for a while it usually stops

My husband drives an older Toyota 4Runner. Lately, he has been having a problem with getting oil into his coolant. At the shop, they did a full system flush and found nothing. They put pressure on the radiator and found no leaks. The head gaskets are fine. The leak is in only one direction ---> from the engine to the radiator (which I guess doesn't make any sense, because it should be going both ways). Everyone is baffled by this problem, even the mechanics, and can't figure out how he is getting oil into his coolant without coolant getting into his engine or leaking. Has anyone out there had a similar problem and if so, what was the cause? Or does anyone have any legitimate ideas? He just replaced the head gasket...that is not the problem! Professional mechanics have looked at this every which way and can't figure it out! Only serious answers please!

I bought a 2004 Wrangler Rubicon on a whim (an error on the website saved me $1000!) I then started doing research and realized that Jeep changed the transmission in 2005 from a 5-speed to a 6-speed. In my 5-speed, 1st gear is WAY too low for street driving, so I start from 2nd, which is too high, and I'm burning my clutch. I want to replace it with a 2005 manual transmission, which has a lower 1st gear, but also a lower 2nd, which will give me a better "street start" 1st gear, and I will still have 5 effective gears.
My basic question is: since the engine is the same 4.0L I-6, will the new transmission bolt directly onto the engine, or are they incompatible?
(I believe I gave enough information, but I will supply more if it is needed)

Should I try adjusting idle speed or go right for choke pull off. Also would both problems be related or two different carb problems?
