Sounds like you may need a new power steering pump. If you want to try something else before replacing it get your power steering flushed.
Make sure it's a real flush. Some shops just suck the old fluid out of the pump reservoir And just fill it with new fluid. If they do it that way you'll still have old fluid in the lines and in your rack and pinion. You may also have the wrong fluid in it. Some cars use transmission fluid. Some use a special power steering fluid. Combining the wrong fluids will also make your power steering raise hell.

If it is making a squealing sound then your belt is slipping and needs tightening or replacing / If the power steering pump is making a sound like the pump is dry but its full then the pump is going bad and needs replacing. Did you recently run the power steering pump out of fluid? If so, then the pump is definately bad and needs replacing. good luck

Get a mechanics stethoscope and use it to isolate the noise location (a cheap but invaluable tool for noise problems)
Start at the Power steering pump and move on from there.

If by chance you here that grating crunching noise coming from

your PS pump, bearings are worn and pump needs replacing.

Did you put the proper fluid in? Sounds like the pump is shot! If not there is an air lock in the fluid system!

If it's whining when you turn the steering wheel it could be the pump or even the rack. When the rack goes it is usually accompanied with the condition of being harder to turn when you first start it, but gets easier after a couple of minutes.

confident, you want all new ignition aspects, spark plugs, wires, coil packs, ignition module, and heatsink grease (thermal compound) for the module. all the corrosion could desire to be sanded off of the mounting bracket too. GM coil packs are used on over 1000 engine and type mixtures, each thing from the old Iron Duke 2.5 I4 to the 3400 V6 in a 2005 Impala, or maybe some non-GM autos. they are generally very stable yet have a gotcha, they are able to and could ruin themselves because of loss of appropriate motor vehicle upkeep, they are able to lots output voltage that if the spark plugs placed on too lots or the wires go undesirable the firing voltage is going too severe and the coil arcs over internally, destroying itself, and often the ignition module too. In different words the coil sacrifices itself in an attempt to maintain your engine from misfiring as long as achievable. So do your upkeep on time and you'd be advantageous from now on.

<>If you are saying the noise is coming from the power steering pump, the pump itself is most likely going bad and needs to be replaced.
