I need a rebuilt alternator for a '96 Jeep Cherokee. The 4 cyl. and the 6 cyl. take the same alternator, so it shouldn't matter which. Anybody got one? Or have a junked Jeep that doesn't need it's working alternator anymore?

www.car-part.com NOT www.carpart.com That site connects junk yards all over the country. I have used it many times with awesome luck. Bought a few starters/alternators for my old Audis cheap.

Try using the yellow-pages in your area. A few calls to the auto junkyards around you should put you in business, Heck auto-zone has rebuilt ones for less than 100 bucks.
