Other than front-end styling similar to the 1973 Buick Electra, and body parts only similar to other Estate Wagons; what General Motors (makes and models') 455 engines allow full-range exchangeable parts for my engine?

i am wondering about cold air intakes and aftermarket exhaust systems. recommend some brands and tell me why they are good. also, when you do put aftermarket intakes and exhausts on an accord does it mess with the computer? will the check engine light come on? should i have a certified honda technician install these things? etc. etc. etc. thanks for any info on this and any other suggestions for increased performance you may have.

I have a C class '94 and its wiper is slightly out of position (it rests slightly higher than where it's supposed to). The wiper does wipe the entire surface of the windshield (does the half-moon fine) but when it's turned off, it doesn't go fully down. When the engine is off I can push it back down but it jumps back up upon starting up the car. One more thing to add is that, the blade is slightly longer than usual and someone actually told me that's the reason why. But it just doesn't make sense since, like I said, the wiper does the half-moon wiping alright... I think maybe the microcontroller controlling the wiper needs to be reprogrammed. No clue.

I wonder if there's a way I could manually fix this myslef.

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT, All Wheel Drive, 5.0 Liter, V-8 and believe that the safety switch either needs adjusting or replaced.
It will not start when I turn the key. There is plenty of juice due to the lights are bright, all the gauges work and do not dim and it starts when I jump the solenoid with a screwdriver.
I already replaced the solenoid and it is still doing the same thing.
After researching this I think it is the neutral safety switch but I do not know where it is located.
PLEASE help..............

This is a 32 foot RV with "basement" compartments. Sometimes water gets in when it rains and other times it stays dry. We're baffled by it.

I'm beginning to see that it may be this, and I just want to know if I am going to have to shell out big bucks for a new fuel pump, or if I can just live with this issue that causes rough idle.

My car is out in the hot sun for nearly 4 hours ---all the windows are rolled up and to my surprize when I get into the car it's cool! The car wasn't left running and there were no doors left open --- so why is my car cool??? This had the mechanics baffled but one figured it out --- (yes, this really is a true event!)
Any one else know the answer???

I have a Suzuki Sidekick that has "fried" the head. Would like to know what other car engines would fit. I know that the Geo Tracker engine is the same, but what about other cars? Currently has 1.6 liter engine,- but anything that will bolt up and work without major modifications would be fine (even smaller engine)! This is a standard transmission, 4wd model. Don't know if the automatic engine would work by changing flywheel (like most american engines) or not. Last guy took head off and lost it, so don't know if engine block is still good or not. Otherwise maybe a good head would do the job. Got used engine quotes on internet, but the engines would cost twice as much as the car is worth!! I am an old mechanic (ret) with 50+ years foreign and domestic exp. So can probably do minor changes without much trouble! I will then try to pick up a wreck that has right engine, and fix mine!!
