We pranked my friends car by covering it with Maxi-pads, now they are claiming that we stripped the paint. We dont know if its true or if they are just trying to make us feel bad. Help anyone?

I take the ignition part outside ,I think problem is in the part wich stay inside in ignition hol.To turn off my car I take power fuse out .On my control panel all control lighst are on iven if I take key outside .Only option to turn off the car and control light is take out the power fuse.Thank you

when i took it out and put it on a battery, it worked but put it back it cor it willnot. changed relay. still no go car over heats on 5 miles what should i do?

I have a 1987 ford ranger. It seems to be getting very weak. I can usually pinpoint problems with cars on my own but this has me stumped. If you baby it , it seems so sluggish and weak. but if you tromp on it it almost feels like a brand new one. whatt could this be? It has the 2.3 liter four cylinder and a plain c4 tranny with over drive.

Two days ago one of the tires on my Chevy Silverado blew out and now another is flat. The tires arent bald or really even close to being bald but they do seem to have sun damage. I live in a small town and when I went to walmart they said I needed to special order my tires because they are offroad tires and not a standard size. Is there some place that will give me an even better deal than walmart?

I'm trying to do preventative maintenance on my car and I heard about vehicles coming to a dead stop when the water pump goes out. I definitely want to avoid that. What's a good way to test it?

For a couple of weeks, my steering has been pulling to the right when I let the wheel go. I checked the tire pressure and the psi is 38 or 39 on all 4 so THAT ain't it. I wanted to go to a mechanic and do a diagnostic test, and I know that will cost also, followed up with a front end alignment if in fact that is the problem. What's the limit I should pay, or is it reasonable to expect to pay less than $75 total for both ??

We had to take it in about 2 months ago because the "something hose" and all the freon leaked out. Now it only blows cold air if we are driving, if we are stopped, it blows warm air. The faster we drive the colder it gets! We've also noticed a slight stutter once in a while when the air is on. Any suggestions what it might be, I don't want to go to the mechanic blind.
We live in Florida, help!!

It will run fine, turn warm for an hour or so, and then run fine again. When it blows warm air, the condensor line outside is warm also. When it's running OK, the line is cool. Sometimes when it's blowing warm air, I'll turn it off for a minute and then turn it back on and it starts cooling again. The fan is always turning and nothing is iced up. Any ideas?

What are the differences between an inline/straight cylinder engine and a V-tech enginee? Advantages - Disadvantages, which are better? Cause most people say a V6 is better than the straight 6, but how come Mercedes and BMW and the Nissan Z and other good cars use lots of inline engines?
