when i took it out and put it on a battery, it worked but put it back it cor it willnot. changed relay. still no go car over heats on 5 miles what should i do?

THERE IS A SENSOR FOR THE RADIATOR THAT TURNS IT ON AND OFF BY THE TEMPERATURE ON THE ENGINE,CHECK FOR THIS SENSOR EITHER ON THE ENGINE OR THE RADIATOR.

As a last resort you could always wire the fan to a keyed power source so that it is always on when car is running. The downfall to this is if you live in a cooler environment it will take a lot longer for the car to warm up in the winter season.

Check the wiring coming and going to/ from the relay you may have a break in the wire.

you need to look for a sensor is always close to the hose
the one from the radiator the upper one
