jus brought a 93 model mitsubishi but the driver side tail light cracked. looking for a replacement. not sure where to source for it

Try finding one at a junkyard and restoring it. Wet-sand the tailight with 1000, 1200, and 1500-grit sandpaper, using an orbital sander, then buff it with some clear plastic polish (Meguair's Plast-X is excellent). Viola! Like-new taillight.
