Looking for something other than dis-assembleing the entire dash and steering column. (and no, you cannot reach up behind the dash--not enough room to get your hand in there)

I replaced the fuel pump 2 years ago in my 98 S10. In October of 05 I replaced it again. I'm starting to hear what is now becoming a familiar sound of a loud fuel pump and a soon to follow failure. These pump are $600 + so I don't know what to do. Please help.

It's a Camry 95 and runs great. But recently it has this problem. It takes me couple of minutes to try to get the key out. Can it be lock cylinder issue? How much does cost to get it fixed?

I get regular oil changes and all I hear is that I may need a new o ring, or that it could be the sensor,bottom line nobody seems to know and the beeping is driving me mad. I don't want to be taken advantage of as I have already give the dealership over $1'000.

I have a 2002 Impala with 100,000 miles and needs about $1,500 worth of work. I wanted it to last me at least another year, but I would hate to put the $ into it and have it crap out when I could have put that money towards a new car. Any suggestions?

My car developed a "shimmy", & when I took it in for a regular oil change, I had the mechanic check this "shimmy". He said my wheel bearing was going bad, & I needed a hub assembly. He estimated the cost at $300. My dad told me that a new bearing should cost no more than $100. Why do I need a hub assembly? Is there some reason the mechanic cannot just repair or replace the wheel bearing? I admit, I do NOT know what a bearing or hub assembly is. Just wondering if I'm being ripped off. I do want to get the best care for my car, but don't want to spend money unneccessarily. Thank you for your answers.

After I drive for a little bit sometimes it re- starts and other times not until it decides to. I have had the computer reset, coil, fuel cut off switch, air filter, spark module, gas filter, rotor, distributor cap, wires and spark plugs replaced. I want to find the 02 sensor but can't find it. Is it easy to change? Any ideas what could cause it not to start? Sorry for the length of this question. Knowledgeable help greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!
