Occasionally, my 1995 Lincoln Town Car won't start for a day or two, then it starts up again. When I try starting it, it starts rolling over, but the engine just can't seem to start up. Repair shops can't figure out the problem. They've done a ton of tests and have no idea what is causing the problem. The weather doesn't seem to be the problem, as it's happened on good days as well as bad ones.

I crashed my car at the end of August 2005. The car was towed to an auto body shop. The car has been there up until now (June 2006). The shop has had the car for 9 months (I'm not sure what took so long to fix it). So today I finally get a call that my car is ready to be picked up. The bill was for $4950. Before any work was performed on the car, I asked how much it would be to get it fix and I was told, "Don't worry, we'll take care of you". I never received an estimate. I just got the invoice and was surprised.

Been nearly 20 years since I last worked on a carb, it only has about 20k on it, running rough and mileage is way down. Can someone give some good reference sources to help me adjust a 4 bbl carb on an 87 Jeep Grand Wagoneer? It's an Edelbrock carb and intake on a 360 motor, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The high mounted stop light works, the tail lights work and the turn signals work so it's not a bulb or fuse problem. Some other sites indicated this requires a turn signal switch replacement. Something costly to do. I'm hoping it's something like a brake switch contact problem. Any ideas out there?
