If it's a 3.3 or 3.8 liter engine, probably the engine computer is defective, a very common problem in these vehicles. The best way to check it is to connect a scan tool and see if the coil(s) will fire manually (ie, via the scan tool) if they don't, most likely the coil drivers in the computer are fried. If you can fire the coils manually, then there is another problem. But without running some tests and more info, it's pretty difficult to guess. Could be a Cam or Crank sensor, broken flex plate, bad wiring, etc.

Some vehicles won't start if the oil is to low. or something like that.
I think you should add more detail as to, what happen that all of a sudden it don't start.

have the computer scanned, there are a number of reasons for not getting spark to the plugs. Many sensors relay this information to the ECM (Electronic Control Module), this should be an easy task for a qualified tech.
Good Luck

If it is not getting spark, it is most likely a bad crankshaft sensor. It could also be a bad coil pack. A computer scan should tell you what is wrong. Any qualified shop can scan your vehicle.

check the disbutor cap and spark plugs
if it sounds like it's getting gas but making a clicking noise it may be the starter.

That's going to be a problem at the spark plugs. Is there power to the starter? (do you hear it click and try to turn over when you turn the ignition key?)
