you may have a flasher relay under the hood near the front
check to see if it's plugged it ,,tap on it,,it may be sticking..

If this doesn't work than your switch might be bad on the steering column

The flasher relay looks like a small round silver cylinder (usually) and is either connected to your fuseblock or under the hood connected to the main wiring harness. When these fail, none of the lights flash but they will still come on. Check with your local auto parts store. These are usually only a couple of bucks and most auto parts stores will be able to tell you exactly where on your vehicle it is. If that is not the problem then you have a short , the switch should be fine since they are separate switches on most fords for signals and flashers.

ok I had this situation with my 1996 ford ranger and function regarded and located 25 diverse solutions as to what the situation may well be. My ranger has a 4 cylinder motor 5 velocity tranny. All of my lights labored parking lights, tail lights, working lights and so on.. in spite of the indisputable fact that for the time of this cas neither turning indicators or hazzards labored. So first needless to say verify FUSES (#21) & (#22) are the blinkers and hazzards. purely because of the fact there no longer blown doesn t mean there s no longer a situation there take a attempt meter and notice if means is attending to the fuses. If no longer the next circulate is going to be to take the panel below the steerage wheel off it as quickly as the plastic panel is off then you definately might desire to take off the metallic panel the lies below the plastic panel as quickly as all it particularly is done you're able to desire to look below there like liteatorly get your head up below the sprint with a flash gentle and hit upon the (turn sign RELAY) it is going to ethier be (BLUE & sq.) or (SILVER & around) if this relay isn t clicking it s no longer establishing an closeting different words no longer working it s 5 money at your community areas shop and not a super deal to alter purely unsnapping a clip and snapping in the hot one. in case you are attempting this and not something differences is the (MULITI function change) that's what controls your wipers brights and so on.. If none of those are working it s in all likelihood the change and not the relay which works from being a 5 dollar relay to a ninety dollar change. And the elimination of the properly suited of the steerage wheel column to change and fasten. And in case you have the truck under pressure out for a trailer plug I exceedingly recommend if not one of the above works replace the plug and run new cord to the hot plug greater then probable it s shorting and inflicting the truck to short the hazzards, blinkers or the two. wish this helped solid success
