Tune up, make sure the air pressure in the tires is at the right level, get some fuel treatment,

sell it and buy a better car

1. Keep your tires properly inflated.
2. Remove any excess weight in the trunk.
3. Remove any roof racks / ski racks - they increase wind resistance
4. Accelerate slowly from stop signs / lights.

Agreed with above.
DONT buy a Tornado, or any other as seen on tv device.
They are all garbage.

Also, be easy on the gas, and shift earlier.
