How much could one reasonably expect to receive in compensation for a fractured pelvis injury sustained in a motorcycle accident, where the car driver who hit the motorcyclist was at fault?

It probably depends on how aggressive the personal injury attorney is, but what would be a ball park figure, for the injury component and not relating to the damage to the motorcycle?

My son is going to graduate from college (in May) and wants to get his license taken care of now since he will have some free time. However, he does not actually need to drive (and will not be doing any driving until he gets ready to move out), and neither of us want to pay for the insurance rates right now. Will just him having a license cause the insurance to go up even if he does not drive and does not need to be insured? Thanks for your time!

I was rear-ended on Saturday morning. My car is totaled (honda civic was hit by a dodge ram). I was rushed to the hospital via ambulance as I passed out. My neck and back are in a lot of pain. Think I have some major whiplash. My insurance agent said the most I will get is $8000? Is this accurate. And why won't he return my calls? I have no idea where my car was towed. Isn't my insurance agent supposed to help me locate it?

I got rearended a little bit ago and called the insurance company of the guy that hit me. I was told to get an estimate for my car and call the insurace company back and let them know who was going to be doing it and they would just give me a check for what the estimate was. Well I got the estimate and called back. I talked to a different person this time and he said he would pay directly to the body shop instead of giving me the check. Well I plan to pocket the money and not get the car fixed. He asked me on the phone whether I wanted to really get the car fixed, or if I wanted to pocket the money. I wasn't sure if this was a trick or not, so I told him I wanted the car fixed. Can I tell them that I want to pocket the money and not get it fixed? Or what should I do? Thanks.

I was involved in a car accident on Sat., I was stopped at a light behind like 10 people when the light turned green it was still stop & go so I made sure to be careful but the lady behind me slammed into me & left two holes in my bumper where her license plate was screwed in. I called the police. We found out she had no license & does not speak any english) but her husband had insurance for the car. I have all the information so I called their insurance and they said they do not have to pay me since she is not under the insurance policy. I am now waiting for a call back from my insurance. I really do not think suing would help out with this situation (their car was a piece of junk) and I cannot afford a lawyetr right now. What should I do? I have the phone # people who hit and the son sort of speaks english so I could possibly work it out with them but if they found out they're insurance will not pay me they might not either. What should I do?

My insurance adjuster came out and cut me a check for 1,200. The check issued is a fair price. The shop i trust gave me a quote of 1,300 which means I will only have to pay 100 out of pocket. My deductible is 500. Do i still have to pay 500 even though the check will cover most of the expenses?

He said he never had the mini van on the road, he bought it from the dealer, and parked it in his yard. I have all the paperwork from the dealer he got it from, but still no registration itself. will I be able to transfer my plates to this vehical to register it without a hastle...?

I was out at the grocery store and the bank the day before. I realized when I got home however that there was a scratch no dent but scratch as if another car tapped my bumper. It is not seriously damaged at all. How do I find witnesses? Should I even bother taking action? And if so what would happen how would I find the person that did it?

I have been driving for about 44 years and have had a company car for the last 20 or so. When I retire, will an insurance company take account of this with no-claims discount for a car of my own?
I do own a classic car on a special classic car policy but as it is very cheap with limited mileage (1500 miles) applying there is no ncd.
