I was born on December 8, 1992 and I heard that they had changed the date to get a liscence. I do know that I am still able to get my permit at 15 and1/2, but I'm wondering if I can still get my licence at age 16. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

i bought a truck back in 2005 from an individual which was wrecked, wasn't in a bad wreck it was still driveable, paid $2000 for it, 2000 model S-10 ex cab, the original owner bought it new and then wrecked it years later when it was paid for and then sold it to another guy who had intentions on fixin it, but he didn't so i bought it, the title is clear and has the first owners name titled on it cause the 2nd owner never registered it, the truck wasn't turned in on insurance, the truck also needed some motor work, when i fixed the truck i went to my local courthouse to register and get tags and apply for a title in my name, i told them what i paid for it and they said the state wouldn't accept that, so i told them it was wrecked in the front and needed some motor work so they went ahead and gave me tags and sent off for a title in my name, now about a year ago the same title gets sent back to me rejected by the state, in the first owners name, i need to sell it fast, what do i do?

My three teenage kids were rear-ended by a commercial truck. They were in a newer mini van, all in seat belts. The driver claims his brakes went out on him, and he was cited by the officer. On pushing the truck to the side of the road, the brakes were bad.

All went to the hospital for xrays, and were released with instructions to rest and take ibuprohen for pain.

Spoke with the claims adjuster was told to get an estmate which is in progress, and I am using my shop, which they approved. I do not anticipate any issues with getting the vehicle made whole.

Question revovles around the kids. They seems fine, and frankly I would be surprised if there was any long term issues. Sore neck, sore back, some soreness from the seat belt. On day two they are not complaining, and are doing normal things.

The clams person indicated that she would make an offer once all of the medical bills are submitted.

Answer I need is, what is a reasonable amount for the injuries

I brought my car to a guy who seems might be trying to rip me off a bit for a brake job...however he did take the time to diagnose the problem and my car has been in his shop for a day. I'd like to get a second opinion but should i tip this guy or something or is it typical for him to eat the time (not that he wouldn't deserve it if he's trying to rip me off but i'm just trying to do what's standard).

I sold a vehicle to my stepson, I want to put all driving responsabilities of the vehicle under his name, the problem is that the vehicle is still being paid to the bank, so the loan is still under my name, what I want to do is put him as a driver so he can use it. The loan would still be under my name. I heard I need to write a letter and have a power of Attorney sign it, does anyone ever write a letter similar to this? What information does the letter need to contain in it?

My car was in a serious accident, and is irrepairable. The insurance company is coming down in a day or two to check out the car. I was no at fault, police are still looking for the guy at fault. However, my car is done.

Will my insurance company give me the value of replacing a car like that, like if I were to buy one again, or would they give me the "book" value?

So, I'm 17 years old, want to get a california driver's permit but unsure if it is worth it if I can just wait like one more year and just get my license. So, I was wondering if I would be able to get the permit and be able to drive by myself with no adult supervision.

I do not own a car at this time. I will be renting a vehicle to go out of town next weekend. I assumed that I could purchase insurance through the rental agency. After reading the description of the Damage Waiver (which is available for an additional charge), I see that it is NOT insurance. Am I able to rent a vehicle without my own auto coverage? How do I go about this? Please site sources for your anwswers. Thanks!

When I was 16 Iwas given a car when I got my liscence and everything was good. Now that my brother has a liscence we have to share the car because we don't have enough money to buy a new car. I have no problems with him sharing the car with me as long as he takes care of it. But there's the problem. He doesn't. He carts around his friends to and from school, they trash it and he doesn't pick up after them and when I drive the car it's a mess. He also doesn't refil the gas tank after he drives it everywhere. He has a job and he goes to events He drives around and leves me with just enought gas to get about 2 mi. away.He has a job and he goes to events more than Ido so it's not right that I have to fill up the tank all the time. I 've talked with him but he still doesn't give me the respect that I think I deserve. He shoot back at me with the few things that I mess up on and grunts at me and says "whatever." Do any of you have any ideas to get him to clean the car and fill up the tank?

My parked car was hit and ran a month ago. The driver of the vehicle abandoned the vehicle on the road and fled on foot. The police report has the name of the registered owner of the vehicle. Is it possible to take this person to small claims court for the deductible I had to pay?

I was involved in a car accident in which I was at fault. It was a low speed, less than 10mph. Thing here is that the other driver swerved in front of me and slammed on his brakes. He had insurance, but was not registered. Not being registered in my state is grounds for a driver's license suspension. The driver is being represented by an attorney claiming body injury. If this goes to court, can I countersue because he was driving illegaly?

The black book determins the value of the vehicle when purchased. This is what the Insurance Company uses to see what the car is worth if the car is in an accident and its a write off. 10 points best answer!!!.

Hi, I am a new resident to GA. I bought a car on the 16th of Spetember. The seller told me on the 23rd of Sep that the registration has been suspended in his name because the car was out of insurance for a couple of days in August. I couldnt get it in my name within 30 days of buying and now the insurance is out (25 Oct). Is there anyway to get the car in my name now?

Florida state, Not at fault, 3rd party claim: I got my vehichle appraised and on the appraisal evaluation I realize that I will be getting recycled parts. I called my adjuster again and requested for OEM parts and they refused to do so saying the law is on their side bla bla bla. My car is an 03 and from my understanding since I am not at fault I should be entiled with OEM parts in Florida. Anyone can shed me some lights? thanks..

I have a problem. My car was wrecked by an unlicensed driver. I didn't know that person's license was suspended. Will my insurance still cover it? My car is messed up pretty bad. He got a ticket, but I don't think the officer filed a report. Can I call it stolen or say I was driving? Or, would that be fraud? Also, how can I find out if the cop filed a report? Also, my car is not registered to me, but the insurance is in my name. Will the insurance cover me???? Thanks!!!!

If a car makes an abrupt and sudden stop as they are approaching a yellow light because they realize they will not make it through and when they stop the light is red and a few seconds later they are rear ended by another vehicle who thought the first car and themselves were going to go through the light is the car that stopped abruptly also at fault?
