What do i need to bring when buying insurance for the first time ?

I'm 17 and need to get some insurance for my car, the car is paid off and is a 1990 mercury topaz, so would i just need my title, liscense, and down payment money?

You will also need to provide your Social Security number and date of birth. If you were on your parents insurance, bring a copy of their policy so you can show you were covered prior to getting insurance on your own.
