now the insurance inspector is gonna see my car .who determines the price ?the inspector or my body shopper. do i have the right not to fix the damage and i get the cheque? thank you

pulled out in front of someone. He was found guilty for "failure to yield, right of way". The driver of the other car that hit him broke his leg severely, and had a steel rod installed, ...i am sure that it was painful. My question is, can he and his lawyers come after me for more damages money wise if his medical bills and pain and suffering go higher than my coverage? My friend had permission to drive my truck, and the accident happened in Tennesee. What is the threshold? My house is worth $22,000 at best, and i am on social security disability also....Can they take part of my check? I get $812 a month. Thanks in advance.

why do Norwich union offer really high insurance quotes and then refuse to price match ! am 31 have 4 years no claims that claim was due to a car fire so not much risk and their quote is £150 more than anyone else

I rented a car for a friend, with my credit card, and he returned the car last night without paying. He told me today that he would not have the money to pay for the car for a couple of weeks. I have a 2001 porsche and this lady just tboned me going through a red light. Now My insurance company wants to offer me about 5000 dollars less then what I can replace it for. I sent them 10 ads in the area close to my car to show them, and they in turn had me appraised by an independent agency. This agency, BIG BLOCK, came back with a dozen examples that all had more miles then mine, and adjusted me .16 cents a mile. After doing depreciation calculations on their examples, the average dep per mile was .60 cents per mile!!!! This changes their evaluation by about 7-8000 dollars overall.
Its been two weeks since they totaled my car. What should I do if they keep trying to low ball me?

If im driving north on a four lane road (2 outside turn lanes) at a big intersection and right b4 i get in the intersection it turns yellow. A Man going south was trying to take a left turn. There wasnt much way for me to stop unless i slammed on my breaks. On the other side of the intersection there are also 4 lanes (2 turn lanes each side) i was about a full car length in the intersection when it turned red. he was in the intersection left turn lane as it turned red. he started pulling out and tried 2 go b4 i went as i was going straight. now if the light was red, dont i have the right away since im going straight? and he hit my car maybe driver headlight to the door handle, so it was basically a t-bone. his car was mainly messed up on the front corner driver side. Wasnt he more at fault than me?

a good friend of mine just got a speeding ticket in clark, nj. and i wanted to know if it's possible to pay extra to get the points taken off your record. mainly because she has 4 points already and if she gets five total she's nocked off the insurance.

she wants to bump the ticket down to careless driving, but i heard somewhere that you can pay some amount per point to get them removed from your current record. am i right?

Hi! does anyone know if my penalty points has expired if they were issued in september 2004.

I know that currently it takes 4 years for minor offences (3 points) to expire, but i heard it used to be 3 years, is this true, if so does that mean that my points have expired or does the current 4 year rule apply to me regardless of when the points were incurred?

Any help would be appreciated, i looked at the direct
.gov website but didnt find it much helpful.

My mother in law was driving my wifes car on our insurance pollicy. She was hit on the passenger side of the car and puched in to the roundabout by the cab on a 14 wheller. MY mother in law was not to blame as the lorry was in the wrong lane and there are witnesses who saw the accident.

The car is a 1996 renault clio and there is some heavy denting and scratches on the passenger door and front wing. Nothing that has effected the driveability of the car to my knowledge. since the car was pushed up over the kerb and on to the roundabout it could have knocked the tracking a little.

I dont know how much it will be to repair but the car is only worth about £600 and the insurance policy on this car has an excess of £350 cause it was the named driver who was driving and not my wife. There also is no protected no claims bonus.

If i was to put this claim through the insurance how would this effect the pocket and the no blaims bonus.
