I've dealt with the state of California
before. What jerks - they sure are
money grabbers. The ones near
Nevada think they are cowboys in
the Wild West.

Not only does California suspend your license for failing to maintain insurance, but they may also suspend or revoke your vehicles registration.

All states will suspend your driver license, but not necessarily for the same length of time.

yes it is, if you crash and dont have insurance to pay for the damages, your license will get suspended for a year.
