Insurance & Registration - October 2007

I have this question in to my insurance company also, but it always takes longer to get a response. I was in an accident in May in Washington state. There was no police report filed because the accident happened out of cell phone coverage areas. The other driver is fighting the at fault even though he hit me on my passenger side while trying to pass me over a double yellow line while i was turning. The case is beyond the insurance now and fault is being decided.
I had about $1000 worth of damage to my car, but my husband and I both have had to go to chiropractic care since. I recently stopped though since I don't want to deal with an attorney.
The other insurance company has been trying to get me to sign release papers and get updates on my medical information. I told them today I am not telling them anything, they can talk to my insurance. Are they being shady? Or do they have the right to push for my information? Isn't that why I pay my insurance?

My friend suggestted that it might not be wise, because when I get another car in 5 months they will charge me more for insurance if I was not insured for a long period of time. His logic was that it's a red flag to insurance co. They think you were driving without insurance or totaled your car. Even though my car just died on it's own.

I am currently living in michigan, but moving out of state in one month. I intend to buy a bigger used car to ease my move. So I don't want to register car in michigan ( to avoid double registration cost). How can I do it ?

There were no examiners there and the test was cancelled with no valid reason or warning i was gutted and now i have to wait 8 weeks for another test which means more lessons and more money, has this happened to anyone before and do they compensate you i feel they should, so unfair.

if it is a single car accident on slippery road and hit the lamppost and claim on your own car insurance because you can not claim whiplash on your own car insurance

I just bought a car and the title has a mistake on it that the seller made. I have the notorization paper with me but do I need to get the seller's signature on it showing it was his mistake? The thing is I can't get a hold of this guy easily, and nobody (i.e. bank, insurance agency, rmv) is telling me a straight story of what I need to do on this notorization form. My car was parked and unoccupied and a commercial truck back up into my car creating front end damage. There was a police report written up and I have 2 party insurance information..(UPS Parcel)...My car only has liability insurance. So, I was driving home, when a girl came speeding around the corner in my apartment complex on the wrong side of the road. Long story short, it got ruled 100% her fault. Now I ended up doing 6 months of chiropractic visits and 2 months of physical therapy. I don't feel different and I am going to have permanant back and neck damage (not severe just not comfortable to be on my feet a long time, sleep, or do strenuous activities, I'm a Chef). That's not it. My wife was about 37-38 weeks pregnant, and we went to a doctors visit a couple hours after the accident. She wasn't in the car, but freaked out when she heard the accident and came out of the apartment and saw it was me. The doctor diagnosed her with preeclamsia (high stress during pregnancy) because of the accident and had to induce her that night. The drugs slowed the baby's heart rate, so they had to give a c-section. They only offered $3k to start and they say my wife doesn't matter because she wasn't in the car. suggestions?

I did replace and attached my front plate after the police gave me a ticket/citation because I lost my front plate. Moreover, he told me that it will not cost a lot if I replace a new plate, I don't have to go to the court, I don't have to go to traffic school, there will not deduct the my point. within 2 months. After that, he asked me to call a phone no. which is from the alhambra superior court.
The description of the ticket is: 5200 (a)vc No Front Plate, Infraction.
I live in Alhambra, CA. Could anyone or who has the same experience tell me what shold I do now, who can correct this violation, and how much money will cost for the rest of procedure? (I've already spent 17 dollars to replace my plates.) I'll very appreciate your answer. Thank you very much!

with full coverage, but he was drunk at the time of the accident,actually i didn't know he was in it i was at work and he found my other set of keys will my car still be covered knowing i'm not going to report it stolen its my boyfriend for peak sakes

well i heard that in chicago you don't have to have the front licence plate on if you don't want to becuase i seen some cars with out it and they don't get pulled over and i just want to make sure and my care looks fugly with the front licence plate on
