I was driving with my 6 month old and got hit head on after he came across the yellow lines. the impact flipped and rolled us and we slid on my roof. I crawled out on my knees on my roof and then had to sit and watch my baby hang inside the car until they finally got her out. very scary. she had glass in her mouth and i had neck, knees, back,wrists and ankle pains and cuts all over me. i had physical therapy and xrays etc totaling 11,000 and i hear about this "general rule" of 3x medical- but i have 2 other kids and a husband and a life that took a while to get adjusted to. im in college and it hurts in my knees still when i walk and so much more inconveniences. like i'm scared of cars hittiing me now- i even jump if they come too close. what do you think?

okay here is my problem. I get into a small car accident but the main problem is that during that time my car is insurance with AllState than I switch to StateFarm because my AllState expire day after the accident. I cannot claim on my insurence company since i'm not insurence with them during the accident. What can I do about it now?

Okay…my husband was offered a job at a Nissan dealership. He just completed a training course and now had been asked to take some tests with a company called Cole Group which will do drug screening and psychological analysis. The problem is that he got a ticket in 2002 in a small town outside Dallas when he was looking at colleges. He begged the police officer to give him a warning because he wasn’t from around there and wasn’t aware of the speed limit and the crappy little small-town ticket they gave him looked like a warning, so he tossed it and didn’t think anything of it. Well, now his license is expired and he went to renew it and was told that it had been a ticket, not a warning. He has gotten tickets since then in Houston (where we live) but nothing ever came up…in short, he wasn’t aware of it. So…now due to failure to appear and a lack of payment for the last 5 years he had to shell out $600, which he did on September 16th. He was told it would be about 2 weeks before he could get his license so he went today to get it and was told that there was still a hold on his license. He called the collection agency, which said they had already sent the payment, and then he called Fairfield County to ask about the payment…they said they receive payment once a month from that agency and that they wouldn’t receive it until Tuesday of next week and that he could get his license 3 days after that…problem is his training for the dealership starts on Monday. If he explains the situation should it be okay? Or will they want to reverse the job offer because he had a hold?

The guy hit me from back 100% his fault accepted to pay the damages signs a paper saying that he will pay I got his insurance number, plate number name and telephone number.I got estimates for the damages but now Everytime I try to call the gu he refuse to answer my calls.What should i do?Please help me.Even thou its not my fault if i report it will it change my insurance?What are my rights?

About to make a move to a new state for a new job. The wife will be staying home for a few years to take care of the kids... can I insure her car as "part-time" since she won't be working anymore?

i was in an accident in the beginning of the year like in march. It wasent car to car, i actually got hit, thank god im ok. I was actually crossing on a cross walk when a car hit me. I took all the necessary actions to file a case. The case was filed around march. i finished therapy around may. Its now October.How long more do i have to wait to get a settlement

I just got rear ended, my car was parked. Obviously it wasn't my fault. My insurance told me that they are sending out a auto claims adjuster. People are telling me that this is strange. That usually it is the other person's insurance adjuster that comes to look at the car. What can I expect from a claims adjuster from my company? Why are they even coming, I have liability, so the other company is going to be paying all the bill, right??? I am confused, I have never filed a claim before.

And is an illegal alien. The police cited him and towed his car, but meanwhile my car needs a new front fender. If I sue him how can I make him pay? And if he won't pay with a judgement how can I collect? And can I even get a judgement on a non U.S. citizen?

ok so the deal is - we got our car insurance policy cancelled on us after we got 2 nsf's in one year, for reasons beyond our control. we got a new insurance policy with monthly payments almost 2 months ago. we paid first and last month's at once, and had one automatic withdrawl since then. are we allowed to cancel our policy? we're thinking about parking the car for 3 months to save ourselves the $ from the payments and gas because its so expensive. he stays home with our child and my work is very close, i can walk. after this 3-6 months, would we be able to sign up for insurance again on monthly payments? we were a special case scenario this time because our policy had gotten cancelled, so im just worried that they wont want to resign us aince we cancelled and no other company will want totake us because of our missed payments.

My roomy was involved in a car-truck accident...the truck hit him on the back of his car..now he cant work...he is hurt..he got a lawyer and he is taking car of the legal stuff...but what about money??? he cant work, his family wont help him, and he is almost out of the door(( have to leave the place coz no rent))...what to do?? anyplace he can go?? any place he can ask for help???

My car's just been hit by a bus, whilst parked outside my house. The driver drove away but I have the registration. Rang the insurance company, who now want to charge me £174 for a speeding ticket my second driver had 4 years before this policy was taken out, in a different car with a different insurance company! They say that they can't get it fixed and I'm not insured until I pay up.

Can they get away with this?
