The payments you're looking for come from the car driver's automobile insurance company. They are supposed to be paying you from the liability part of the policy.

I would recommend you call the insurance comapny and ask them specifically how much you'll be paid, and when you can expect the check.

If you don't know who the other guy's insurance company is, get a copy of the police report. It will be on there. Then you'll need to file a claim.

Did you get a lawyer? If you did, then you need to ask the lawyer. My experience tells me that the longer the therapy continues, the larger the settlement.
If you didn't, the insurance company probably just paid the bills and they are done. If you want some settlement, then you need to file a lawsuit for it. They don't just offer you a settlement unless they are threatened. It might be too late. Better consult a lawyer soon.

Good luck...

after the therapy is finished and you feel ok they usually settle the case within few months as long as you agree with the amount they offer. otherwise it could go on for years.

Could be years by the time the lawyers get done screwing around.
