I would be VERY careful before adding anyone to the title, because if you do, THEY CAN PREVENT YOU FROM SELLING OR DISPOSING OF THE CAR. It would need BOTH signatures to transfer ownership. If you still want to do this, go to the motor vehicle bureau with the title and the other person and have the title re-issued in both names.
