Does anybody know how you would obtain (if there were any) CCTV footage? Basicly we had a accident a few months back and the muppet is saying it wasn't his fault. No witnesses was just wondering if this would be possible, though sure its a long shot!

Best thing to do is go to the local police station and ask them for advice.. they might be able to tell you if there is CCTV in the specific area and also if they can obtain it for your insurance company.. however i dont think they will allow you to see it..

You can't and an insurance company can't. But The courts or the police can. (We are talking about police or local council CCTV here, right?) You called the police as soon as the issue came into dispute of course. Informed your insurance company on the date the accident happened. Most CCTV is deleted after a month or so anyway, so if you've left it this long, I'm starting to wonder who the muppet is.

be carefull, I had this then in court their soliciter refused to let the cctv be submitted ?
why the judge even give them the option to refuse to see what actually happend is beyond me.
but either way I lost & justice was not done. English law courts have nothing to do with justice & all to do with letting muppets roam free.
