I am new driver. While parking my car, rather using brake by mistake I hit acceleator. My car hit the private store's brick-wall. Police has noted down my insurance and dr. license and said it is your mistake. It was actual my mistake my shoe got slipped from Brake pad to Accelerator. I do have Property Damage liability for $50,000 in my insurance coverage. What should I talk to insurance, Do I need to call them? Will I get any points? I 'm nervous. I wud appreciate your answers and advice.

The liability coverage on your car will pay the store for any damage to their wall.

If you had collision coverage on your car - that will pay for any damage to your car.

Just call the insurance company and tell them what happened. They will pay for everything except your deductible. You have been paying for your insurance policy, so you are entitled to use it.

hey i just got into a car accident today at 300 yes you need to call your insurance company. I hit a telphone pole i had my dogs with me my one might not make it because she is old

call your insurance agent, give them the item # the police gave you so they can get a copy of the report and work with building owner
